STMA girls take 3rd in state track and field championships
St. Michael-Albertville High School hosted the 2024 Minnesota State High School League Track and Field State Championships last week. The finals for the Class 3A tournament were held on June 8. Of course, STMA had plenty of their own athletes competing in the state tournament and the girls’ team made a strong run to win the state championship. Osseo Schools to provide free meals this summer
Osseo Area Schools will provide free meals to children through the federally funded Summer Food Service Program from Monday, June 10 through Aug. 1. Any child 18 years of age or younger may participate. Meals will be provided during the allotted time frames and must be eaten on-site. This year, there will be six school sites in Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove offering meals on certain days and mealtimes. Additionally, the district will host 24 meal sites via its partnership with the Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center Rec on the Go program. Meals are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
