Fredericksburg Police searching for Pa. man with multiple warrants after police chase
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — A man wanted in Pennsylvania for felony abduction faces a host of new warrants in Virginia after attempting to evade Fredericksburg Police last month. Eugene Montaque, out of Westmoreland County, was driving a minivan at about 8:50 p.m. on April 30 around the 1400 block of Airport Avenue in Fredericksburg, when police attempted a traffic stop.

SOLOMONS, Md. – The Calvert Marine Museum (CMM) has introduced four new friends to their exhibits, including two new Cownose Rays and two Eastern Hellbenders. County nonprofits received a glimpse of what their checks from the government might be next fiscal year during Tuesday’s county commissioners’ budget work session. County Administrator David Weiskopf and an internal group drafted recommendations for fiscal 2025 nonprofit funding. With the primary election looming early next week, mail-in ballots that have been received and counted in the Southern Maryland counties are surpassing the number of voters who have shown up in person during the first several days of early voting.
