A Clairton man convicted in September for possession and sale of fentanyl told a Westmoreland County judge on Thursday he was ready to turn his life around. Anthony Jamison, 34, has been free after he paid $100,000 bail in October 2021, more than five months after his arrest on drug offenses following a police investigation and chase in North Huntingdon.

A man accused by Arnold police of selling drugs and carrying a gun illegally has been ordered to stand trial on felony charges. Charles Lawrence Bacon, 18, of the 500 block of Marion Street in East Deer was charged Nov. 20 with two counts of possession of drugs with the intent to deliver and a count of illegal possession of a firearm, which are felonies, along with a count of drug possession.
