Church News: Providence Baptist to host evangelist

Providence Baptist

Dr. Frank K. Thomas of Mt. Zion Baptist Church High Point will be the evangelist at Providence Baptist Church Edenton Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. nightly. The Palymra Male Chorus, Gary Outlaw, and the Women of Praise will provide music on respective nights.

New Hope United

The New Hope United Women in Faith will hold a community yard sale at 2098 New Hope Road, Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Outside spaces are $10; inside spaces are $15. Tables and chairs are $10. The deadline to register is March 30. The rain date will be April 13. Contact: 264-3387 or 264-3923.

Albemarle Chorale

The Albemarle Chorale will present “A Woman’s Voice: Music by Women” on Sunday, April 28 at Edenton United Methodist Church in Edenton and again on Sunday, May 5 at First United Methodist Church in Elizabeth City. Both concerts begin at 4 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
