Ticket-holders to last week’s Easels in the Garden not only got to tour 12 of Edenton’s most beautiful gardens, they also were able to watch some three dozen artists painting their interpretations of Edenton in the spring. Nearly 600 gardening enthusiasts and others seeking tips on how to become one attended last weekend’s 12th annual Albemarle Master Gardener Spring Garden Show. Holmes High School’s Herren Project held its Healthy Soles 5K run in downtown Edenton on Saturday, April 27, with a record 93 runners navigating a course starting near Edenton’s Farmer’s Market and continuing past Edenton’s waterfront.
