Local growers invited to attend Ebensburg Farmer’s Market

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Local growers are being invited to apply to become a vendor at the upcoming Ebensburg Farmer’s Market.

The Ebensburg Main Street Partnership organizes the community farmer’s market each year from early July to mid-September at Penn Eben Park. This year, the market will run from July 6 until Sept. 21 and farmers are required to apply online to participate or by sending an email .

Any farmers interested in applying are asked to apply by Friday, April 5.

“This is a great opportunity for both our local farmers and our residents to buy and sell directly to/from each other,” Community Development Director Danea Koss said. “This market is intended only for those who grow and make their own produce and is not intended for vendors to resell items they have purchased elsewhere.”

Due to limited space, the partnership can’t accept crafters. Items that are typically sold at the market include fresh fruits & veggies, fresh flowers & herbs, maple syrup, honey, eggs and baked goods.
