A lucky Mega Millions player in Michigan just narrowly missed out on a massive $393 million jackpot prize, but they're still taking home a hefty $1 million, per lottery officials. The Michigan Lottery confirmed that the near-jackpot ticket matched five winning numbers from the drawing on Friday – 8, 17, 40, 60, and 70 – but missed the Mega Ball, which was 3. While no winner has claimed the $1 million jackpot yet, they'll certainly be aiming to do so within a year; otherwise, the ticket will expire. The winning ticket was bought at a Kroger store located at 700 N. State Road in Davison, as WJRT reports.
