EASTON, Mass. (WPRI) — The discovery of a skull in an Easton neighborhood has led to more bones being found, the Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn’s Office said Thursday.

Police were called to Summer Street just before 1 p.m. Wednesday after residents found what appeared to be a human skull in the creek behind their home.

After determining it was “likely a human skull,” Quinn’s office said police continued to search the area.

On Thursday, more human bones were located, according to Quinn’s office.

The bones will be tested in the coming days or weeks in hopes of identifying them.
