Driver Wanted For Fatal Hit-and-Run in Mount Airy, GA
Authorities are looking for a hit-and-run driver who killed a Mount Airy, Georgia, woman on Saturday. 21-year-old Mia Y. Alvarez died after being struck by an unknown vehicle, or vehicles, while she was walking in the northbound lane of Dicks Hill Parkway, state troopers say. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on December 2 near Bridgewater Drive, outside a neighborhood south of the Habersham County landfill.
