Lancaster County road to be closed for months due to project
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — The roadway and bridge of Meadow Valley Road will be completely shut down starting June 13, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department reports. The $891,371 project will be conducted by JVI Group, Inc, which will set up a detour using Rothsville Road and Route 272.
Summer Fire Camp in Lancaster County prepares future firefighters
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Garden Spot Fire Rescue hosted its 4th Annual Fire Camp for kids in Lancaster County between the ages of 10 to 14. The camp allows children to get hands-on training and education about the fire rescue industry. It also helps kids get their foot in the door to becoming a firefighter as a full-time career.

A lawsuit challenging a Lancaster County law on mail-in ballot protocol was filed Friday against the Lancaster County Board of Elections. The plaintiffs are challenging the rejection of mail-in and absentee ballots that omit the last two digits of the year. Lancaster County ballots display the first two numbers of the year as 20 and require voters to fill out the last two.
