The Dexter American Legion Post #419 in Dallas County has a delicious event happening tonight. A Chili Cook Off and Cinnamon Roll Contest is being held at the American Legion Hall from 6-7:30pm. The Legion notes that entries will need to be submitted between 4pm and 5pm for $5, then judging starts at 5pm. There will be a free will donation available. According to the Legion, the Chili Cook Off and Cinnamon Roll Contest is dedicated to Chris Thornburg, who was active in the Sons of the American Legion while also assisting at the Legion Steak Fries.
