Warm beginning to the work week
SUMMERY START TO THE WEEK Although the morning started a little cool with readings in the 40s, sunshine is doing a fine job of warming things up. Afternoon highs will range from the low 60s on the Cape, to the mid 60s in Boston and along the coast, to the lower 70s inland. Enjoy! Scattered clouds will mix in this afternoon. A warm front will lead the way for mild, moist air to trigger a brief overnight shower. By sunrise Tuesday those showers will be gone, and we’ll be back to mostly sunny and warm weather. In fact, the greater Boston area will flirt with 80 degrees thanks to breezy southwest winds. The hot spots will be Metro West and the Merrimack Valley. The cool spots will be the South Coast, Cape and Islands with highs only in the 60s thanks to breeze off the ocean. WET WEATHER MIDWEEK
