Former Hot Rod Cafe gets a face-lift in New London
New London ― Construction workers with Allied Group of CT LLC installed new windows at the former Hot Rod Cafe on Wednesday. Property owner Rod Cornish closed the popular restaurant on Bank Street in October. Earlier this year, the city’s Planning and & Zoning Commission approved Cornish’s plans to turn the space into a retail gallery and apartment space.
