Spring gardening preparations underway

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – May is here and the weather has been getting warmer.

Right now there is quite a variety of flowers and plants to choose from. Mother’s Day is just around the corner and you might be looking for something that mom can plant in the garden. At Graziano Gardens in East Longmeadow, they have quite a selection available from hanging plants to geraniums.

There are quite a few things you can plant right now, “You can plant anything now pretty much, got to hold off on the veggies a little bit but perennials, annuals, some annuals, roses all that good stuff,” said Chris Graziano.

While it has been getting warmer, we can still see some colder temperatures this time of year so you should be ready to cover up or bring in your plants if there is frost in the forecast.
