Seven Stars opens new cafe in East Greenwich

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island’s popular Seven Stars Bakery has a new location in the West Bay.

In a social media post on Tuesday, the bakery posted a short clip of its newest cafe on Cliff Street in East Greenwich, inviting customers to stop by for a treat.

The new cafe is Seven Stars’ sixth Rhode Island location. There are currently three bakeries in Providence, one in the Rumford area of East Providence, and one in Cranston.

The bakery’s sticky buns were recently praised by actor Jamie Lee Curtis , who was in Providence filming “Ella McKay” earlier this year .

The company also gained attention in 2023, when its unionized employees approved a contract that increased hourly pay from $9 to $13.
