A Delaware County man faces manslaughter and assault charges in connection to a child's death in Deposit late last week, New York State Police said. James Christ Jr., 26, of Deposit, was arrested after State Police investigators were dispatched to a Fair Street address Friday for an unresponsive toddler, officials said.
Car chase that began in Liberty ends in Newburgh

Domestic Incident Leads to Several Charges for Masonville Man
A Masonville man is facing over a half-dozen charges after a domestic incident in Masonville last week. According to New York State Police, the incident occurred at a Axtell Road residence on Friday, May 10th. An investigation determined Duane L. Gardepe menaced and threatened a victim, prevented the victim from leaving or calling 911 and forced unwanted sexual acts, according to state police.

The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) will host a distributed food drive benefiting food pantries in several upper Delaware River Basin communities.
