Man gets 23 years in prison for Dupont Circle murder
WASHINGTON — A Maryland man was sentenced to 23 years in prison on Friday for his involvement in a murder in Dupont Circle. James Jackson, 30, of Silver Spring, was sentenced in the deadly shooting of Christian Monje, 29, of Fairfax County. He plead guilty in February to one count of second-degree murder while armed in connection to the shooting.
