A man is behind bars and another is fighting for his life after a stabbing in Schenectady. This happened Friday night on Albany Street. Police say when they arrived, they found a 43-year-old man who had been stabbed several times. He was rushed to Albany Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Amsterdam man accused of selling drugs
An Amsterdam man is facing drug charges. Thomas E. Earl, 58, is accused of selling drugs to someone working with police, investigators said. He was arrested on Wednesday. Earl was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Amsterdam City Court and released on his own recognizance to return to court at a later date.
