Pedestrian in critical condition after reported hit and run in Wawa parking lot
AMITY TWP., Pa. - Amity Township Police are looking for a dark blue Honda sedan that allegedly struck a pedestrian in a Wawa parking lot and then left the scene. Police say around 2:50 p.m. Friday the 61-year-old victim turned into the parking lot of the Wawa on Maplewood Drive in Douglassville, and the Honda Sedan turned in at the same time.
5th-grader stable after being hit by car after school in Pottstown
POTTSTOWN, Pa. -- A fifth-grade student is in stable condition after being hit by a car a block away from a Montgomery County school on Wednesday. The preliminary investigation shows the driver clearly had a green light and the 11-year-old student was not following the pedestrian traffic signal when the accident happened at North Charlotte and East streets, Pottstown Police Chief Mick Markovich said Thursday morning.

Gary Redner, executive vice president of Redner's Warehouse Market, was found beaten to death on a neighbor's property on March 9, 2008, according to PSP. Redner, 55, was last seen leaving Ganley's Pub at 500 Brownsville Road in Sinking Spring around 7 p.m. the night before, troopers say. Man Charged With Stealing Semi After Traffic Stop for Seatbelt
(Reading, PA) -- A 52-year-old man from Connecticut is in the Berks County Jail for reportedly not turning in a rented semi-truck at the end of March. A state trooper discovered the rig was allegedly stolen when he pulled over Abdoul K. Conde on Interstate-78 for not wearing his seatbelt. The trooper says Conde had denied knowledge of the truck having one of its license-plate digits taped over. Officials say drivers sometimes do that to trip up license plate readers and avoid being charged for tolls.
