WAUKON, Iowa (Iowa's News Now) — The Waukon man accused of killing his estranged wife has taken a plea deal and is set to be sentenced in June. Brandon Kasemeier is charged with first-degree murder after Jami Kasemeier was found dead outside her home in Waukon back in January.

Postville man pleads guilty to causing death of child
POSTVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) - A Postville man has pled guilty to causing the death of his child. Crews responded to a residence on 245th Street back on September 2nd, 2022, for a report of an unresponsive 4-month-old. The child was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
