New boat ramp opening at Crow Creek Wildlife Management Area
DAVENPORT, Iowa — Join Partners of Scott County Watersheds (PSCW) to celebrate the opening of the Crow Creek Wildlife Management Area Boat Ramp on Saturday, June 1. The Improving Public Access and Usability at Crow Creek Wildlife Management Area project was completed in October 2023 with a partnership from Iowa’s Department of Natural Resources, River Action, Inc., Iowa American Water, and Scott County Regional Authority.

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Two Quad Cities-based businesses are teaming up for an upcoming farmers-market-style event — but with a twist. Rock Island's Wake Brewing and Ground Pounder Hot Sauces are hosting The Dark Market on Saturday, June 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. The setup is similar to markets popping up around the area as we get closer to summer. Various vendors will set up on Wake's patio ready to sell their goods and Justin's Tacos food truck will be serving up food as well.
