DETROIT (WWJ) — The search is on for a man suspected of stealing from multiple cars in Detroit’s Brush Park neighborhood.

The Detroit Police Department’s 3rd Precinct on Monday shared photos of a man who allegedly broke into several cars within a gated parking lot and stole items.

While authorities did not specify what the man took, officials say the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1 in the 2900 block of John R, a few blocks north of I-75.

Photos show the man, wearing a dark gray sweatshirt, black pants and a dark beanie, climbing the locked gate to the parking lot.
