    Missing 14-year-old Detroit girl Nevaeh Mixon has been recovered, police say

    DETROIT (WWJ) -- A 14-year-old Detroit girl who was reported missing on Thursday has been recovered, according to police.

    Nevaeh Mixon was reported last seen at around 4:30 or 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, when she left her home on the city's west side, without permission.

    Her mother and police asked for help to find the teen when she didn't return.

    Friday night, police sent an update stating that Mixon was recovered. No further information was released about this case.
