The Denver Broncos may want to inquire about Nuggets star Nikola Jokic’s interest in playing football.

Jokic looked every bit like a quarterback during one play in Game 5 of his team’s Western Conference semifinals clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.

The Nuggets led 62-57 a few minutes into the third quarter at Ball Arena in Denver, Colo.

Jokic grabbed a rebound off a Timberwolves miss. Before the Serbian could even corral the ball properly, he immediately turned his head and flung a fullcourt pass to a streaking Jamal Murray for an uncontested dunk.

Even Murray couldn’t help but make the touchdown gesture NFL referees use to signal a successful TD.

Here’s another angle of the unreal pass.

The 3-time NBA MVP has the heft of an offensive lineman. But Jokic basically serves as the QB for the Nuggets’ offense. The pass to Murray was Jokic’s third consecutive assist and capped off an 11-2 run for the Nuggets.

Jokic tallied a game-high 13 assists in the Nuggets’ 112-97 win. But the Joker did far more than just pass. He pummeled the Timberwolves in the paint, finishing with 40 points on 15/22 shooting from the field.

Jokic did it without throwing an interception committing a single turnover too.
