Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray is facing backlash for his dangerous behavior during Game 2 of the Timberwolves series Monday night.

Murray was caught by cameras chucking a heating pad on the court right in the middle of the action during the first half.

Murray, who was on the bench at the time, got away with it too. Refs didn't know who threw it at the time, but the entire NBA world does now.

During TNT's postgame analysis of Denver's stunning loss, Shaquille O'Neal asked the rest of the crew if the NBA will discipline Murray for his despicable behavior.

"He going to get in trouble for that?" O'Neal asked.

Charles Barkley was quick to respond, suggesting Adam Silver and the NBA will step in and issue a hefty fine to Murray.

"He'll get a nice little fine," Barkley said.

Charles Barkley says the NBA will fine Jamal Murray for his actions.

A fine is the least the NBA should do. Adam Silver should seriously consider suspending Jamal Murray for Game 3.

This is an entirely different conversation if Karl-Anthony Towns slips and breaks his wrist as a result of Murray's behavior. And Silver should in no way whatsoever wait for that to happen to seriously discipline a player.
