DENVER ( KDVR ) — It’s a breezy start to the workweek in Colorado.

Wind across the start has already started up this morning. The National Weather Service already reported wind gusts as high as 75 mph in Centennial while other areas in the state already see the effects.

Winds knocked down an overhead pole on Interstate 25 early Monday morning, making the commute to work a standstill for some cars along the roadway.

It’s just the start of Monday. Some other places in the state will see wind speeds as high as 40 mph while wind gusts could reach up to 80 mph in the higher elevations of Colorado, according to the Pinpoint Weather team.
