Laurel man arrested for resisting arrest
LAUREL, Del. – Laurel Police have charged a man with resisting arrest for a second time. At around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, an officer on patrol was conducting a property check of the Hollybrook Apartments due to the high crime rate in the area. The officer observed a man walking on Grazing Court, who caught the officer’s attention by his reported deliberate attempts to avoid detection by the officer and covering his face entirely with a hooded sweatshirt. The man then walked between buildings to get away from the officer.
Millsboro man arrested for assault, resisting arrest
LONG NECK, Del. – A Millsboro man is behind bars on multiple assault and resisting arrest charges following an incident early Sunday morning. Just after 5:30 a.m., troopers were called to a house in the 26000 block of Oak Forest Lane for a reported assault. They learned that a man, identified as 35-year-old Brandon Myers, had assaulted a woman at the house and left. A short time later, troopers found Myers on the property of a business in the 32000 block of Long Neck Road and tried to take him into custody, however, he physically resisted arrest. Myers then allegedly tried to take a trooper’s gun from the holster while they were arresting him.
Salisbury Police searching for missing woman
SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman. We’re told 33-year-old Patoria Giddens was last seen at Cross Winds Apartments at around 10:30 a.m. Monday. She is about 5’6″, 225 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Police say she was last seen wearing a black Adidas sweatshirt and black pants.
