Live From Logansport, It’s Saturday Night!
Overall, a fun night to meet some fun actors, laugh till your stomach hurts, and hang out with friends or family. Saturday Night Logansport is really a time for students to take control and show what they’re made of on stage and off. Meaning everyone can write a script that they think is funny and that other people would like.

Inside The Lawrence: A Restored Barn Restaurant in West Lafayette’s Discovery Park District
The long and eagerly anticipated barn, planned as a centerpiece of Purdue’s Discovery Park, has opened. Read more about its history and construction here. Called The Lawrence, named after Lawrence Beck, founder of Beck Seeds, it had only been open a few days when the Dining Divas & Dudes decided to try it out. Located at 150 McCutcheon and hard to miss, it’s a giant barn after all, the largest one in Indiana in 1937 when it was built, and the first impression is stunning—the architectural finishing of the barn, tasteful decor, and the sheer immensity of the place. It’s hard to take in all at once. We may need to make a return visit. The Lawrence is in the Cunningham Restaurant Group, one of their concept restaurants. Food is cooked from scratch, farm-to-table when possible, with many ingredients sourced from CRG—Cunningham Hydroponic Greenhouses. The agricultural connection between Purdue’s beginnings and mission and The Lawrence are inescapable.

Dog N Suds opens for 70th year, drawing loyal fans despite snow
LAFAYETTE,IN — Even with snow flurries and stiff winds buffeting Sagamore Parkway, weather wasn’t a deterrent enough to keep customers away from Dog N Suds’ 70th opening day on Monday, Feb. 23. With every station full when the restaurant opened at 11 a.m. — and cars waiting in the side lots, to boot — patrons couldn’t wait to get a taste of yet another year of coney dogs and frosty mugs of root beer. In fact, Lynn Paddack had been waiting months. “(My mom)’s been asking for months to come to Dog N Suds, and I said, ‘Mom, they’re not open,'” Jill Paddack said about Lynn, a resident of Mulberry Health assisted living facilities in Mulberry. “I saw they were opening today and said, 'We’re coming.'” Lynn, along with her friend Ruth Brettnacher from Mulberry Health, said they were excited to return, having been loyal customers for more than 60 years. “I’ve been coming to Dog N Suds ever since I was in high school, and I’m 82,” Lynn Paddack said. “I get a cheeseburger with coney sauce.” And they weren’t the only ones from out of town for the coney sauce, either. The opening day brought customers from outside

The Classic Indiana Lunch Counter Where a Simple Smashburger Draws Crowds From Every Corner of the State
I have driven past a lot of burger joints in Indiana, but nothing made me stop and double back quite like Hinkle’s Hamburgers on South Adams Street in Bloomington. There is something about the smell of beef sizzling on a flat top grill that reaches you before you even open the door.
