Fitchburg man sentenced to federal prison for methamphetamine trafficking
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A Fitchburg man was sentenced on Tuesday for methamphetamine trafficking, the U.S. Department of Justice confirmed Wednesday morning. Orrin Hunt-Hayes will serve six-and-a-half years in federal prison for possession of 50 or more grams of methamphetamine intended for distribution, the agency reported. He pleaded guilty on Feb. 1 to the charge.
Three Dane Co. residents charged with lying during firearms purchases
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - In two separate cases, the Wisconsin Department of Justice charged three Dane County residents on Wednesday for lying when purchasing firearms. In the first case, 36-year-old Candice Patterson of Middleton and 19-year-old Deovion Baker of Madison are charged with lying when purchasing two handguns on Sept. 1, 2023 from a Sun Prairie gun store.
