Ex-Employee of Doylestown’s County Theater in Trouble After Paying an After-Hours Visit
DOYLESTOWN, PA—A Doylestown man and ex-employee of the County Theater was charged with theft and trespassing after allegedly entering the business after it had closed for the night and then refusing to leave. Police said that on May 3, Benjamin Michael O’Hare, 36, entered the theater after hours through a side door. O’Hare, who had previously worked for the theater, allegedly went to a second-floor office.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER When O’Hare was asked to leave, he allegedly instead went to the first floor and rifled through cabinets and a cash register. Police said O’Hare left the theater with about $70 of items. A short time later, police located O’Hare and took him into custody. He was arraigned on charges of criminal and defiant trespass, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Bail was set at 10% of $100,000. Police also detained O’Hare because of an outstanding warrant from Bucks County Adult Probation. O’Hare was taken to Bucks County Prison. Want more news like this delivered to your inbox?
