The Waterloo track & field team continued to test itself last week by competing twice. First, the Pirates headed off to Poynette High School on Tuesday, April 23 for a Capitol Conference quad against Columbus and Wisconsin Heights in addition to the host Pumas. Pardeeville proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 16) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wayland Academy Big Red 8-6. The win was familiar territory for Pardeeville who now have three in a row.
