Teenage Pleasant Grove murder victim is now identified

DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- The teenager gunned down after a minor traffic accident in Dallas last week has now been identified.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner says 16-year-old Isaac Aguirre died at Baylor Hospital the morning after being shot on May 2nd. That evening there was what Dallas police call a "...minor vehicle accident..." at the intersection of North Masters and Carolina Oaks Drive in Pleasant Grove.

Police report that people not even involved in the crash started fighting and that's when someone opened fire, striking Aguirre and two others whose wounds were not life-threatening. The killer is still on the run.

Aguirre's mother has set up a GoFundMe page to help defray funeral costs.
