A margarita con is coming to DFW, all for a good cause

DALLAS (KDAF) — Yes, a convention surrounding all things Margaritas is coming to Dallas! And to make it an even more cooler event, it will all take place on Cinco de Mayo!

Astral Tequila is hosting a Margarita Con, a celebration that will be dedicated to everyone’s favorite cocktail.

This will be a bar-to-bar type of event. So not only will you be able to try some amazing margaritas but you’ll also be able to support some of your favorite local bars as well.

Participating bars include The Saint, Frida Social Club, Felix Culpa, Sushi Marquee, Scout, The Ivy Tavern, Mexican Sugar (Uptown), Mexican Sugar (Plano), Mexican Sugar (Las Colias) and Casa Mia Latin Cuisine.

Did we mention, this will also be for a good cause?

Every purchase supports Astral’s work with Hábitat para la Humanidad México to build homes for people in need through their ongoing sustainability program, the Adobe Brick Project , in Jalisco, Mexico.

Plus, Astral will be donating $50,000 to local Habitat for Humanity affiliates right here in the U.S., including Trinity Habitat for Humanity in Fort Worth, Texas, furthering the impact of every Astral margarita enjoyed.
