TxDOT road work includes intersections in Amarillo and Dalhart

Officials from the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) released information on various lane closures and updates due to ongoing projects :

On Monday, May 6, the intersection of US 87 and Central Avenue will be closed as crews continue bridgework. The intersection is expected to open back up to traffic on Tuesday, May 7.

In Dalhart, crews will be conducting milling operations Monday at the intersection of SH 1727 and US 87. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to FM 3489 and only traffic turning off of US 87 will be allowed. Amarillo Street will also be closed at the SH 1727 intersection. The work is expected to be completed on Tuesday, May 7.

Throughout the week, expect various lane closures on FM 1912 from US 60 to IH-40 as crews will be conducting patching operations.
