Flag City holds 2nd Annual Honor Walk to bring awareness to veteran mental health
FINDLAY (WLIO) - The Flag City community came together for a special cause. Through The Headstrong Project, former U.S. Marine Corporal Jacob Blankenship and Flag City residents held their second annual walk to bring awareness to veteran mental health. Food trucks, vendors, and entertainment were on hand, as those in attendance walked 10 miles to help raise money to provide barrier-free and stigma-free mental health treatment for veterans and their families. The meaning behind the walk is to show others that they do not walk alone through struggles and hardships.
