New music, summer classes and camps meant to inspire the artist within this summer
Wayne Center for the Arts (WCA) is offering camps, mini-camps and classes to entertain and inspire students this summer. Programs are available for students of all ages and include traditional offerings and innovative workshops in visual arts, clay, dance, music and theater. Library bookmobile to make first stop Friday in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN – The Wood County District Public Library’s new bookmobile will debut Friday at the 251 N. Main St. library. A ribbon-cutting and remarks from library director Michael Penrod at 10 a.m. will be followed with tours led by bookmobile and outreach staff from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Craft stations, including a folding-paper craft to make a mini-bookmobile, will be open to all ages. The bookmobile has expanded from 11 public stops to 19, and visits schools, daycares, and senior living facilities around the library’s service district. To find a stop, visit wcdpl.org/bookmobile.
