First Alert: Rainy Sunday comes with a flooding risk
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - After a decently wet Saturday, we’re looking at the chances for an even rainier Sunday, with another low-end flooding risk. Highs for our Sunday remain stunted by the rain and heavy cloud cover, only reaching into the upper 70s. Showers and the occasional storm can be expected throughout the day. It won’t be a total washout, with periods of dry throughout. Still, a low-end flooding risk is expected for Sunday, with most of our area under a Minimal (1/4) risk for flooding and flash flooding, and another section of our area under a Slight (2/4) risk for flooding. Have a plan in place if you live in a flood-prone area.
