Parents and students at a Charlotte magnet school say a district plan to adjust their bell schedule could drive families away from the program. The South Academy of International Languages , located on Nations Ford Road in south Charlotte, currently operates from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. But parents say Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools plans to move S.A.I.L. to a 9:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. schedule next school year. UNC Charlotte’s Shared Plate-Reader Network Drew Heavy Use From Houston
UNC Charlotte says its participation in a shared camera network does not require it to provide access to outside law-enforcement agencies. But searches by other agencies can include detections from campus cameras.
