CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - The Charlottesville-based company Gearharts Fine Chocolates recalled nearly 5,000 chocolates after an incident in September. According to the store, an employee found a shard of glass in a non-circulated batch of chocolates on September 19. The entire batch was discarded, and a recall was sent out as a precaution. Gearharts immediately notified the FDA about the incident.
