Where Oregon State baseball sits in national rankings following series win over Stanford

The Oregon State Beavers either moved up or held ground in all four major college baseball polls following last week's series win over Stanford.

Wilson Weber, Dallas Macias and Gavin Turley delivered big performances at the plate to help lead the Beavers to Friday and Saturday wins over the Cardinal. In Sunday's finale, Oregon State fell 11-10 after Stanford's Charlie Saum hit a ninth-inning, go-ahead home run.

As a result, the Beavers (29-5, 10-4) held strong at No. 5 in the Division I Baseball rankings. OSU is one of just three Pac-12 teams that cracked the top-25. Oregon (25-10, 10-5) jumped from No. 18 to No. 16. Arizona (21-13, 10-5) entered the rankings at No. 21.

USA Today Coaches Poll

Oregon State jumped from No. 5 to No. 4 and garnered 656 points. It did not receive any first-place votes. Oregon, meanwhile, climbed four spots to No. 18 and earned 235 points.

Baseball America

The Beavers held steady at No. 8 but are still buried behind a cluster of SEC and ACC programs. Oregon jumped one spot from No. 17 to No. 16.

NCBWA

Oregon State held its ground at No. 5, while Oregon surged from No. 19 to No. 14.

What's next for the Ducks and Beavers?

Oregon State was set to kick off a two-game midweek tilt with Nevada (14-17, 9-8 Mountain West) in Reno on Tuesday. Wednesday's game is slated for a 6:05 p.m. first pitch and can be streamed on the Mountain West Network.

The Beavers will then travel to Berkeley, California, for a three-game set with Cal (20-14, 8-10). First pitch for Friday's opener is set for 6:05 p.m. and all three games will air on Pac-12 Insider.

Oregon will travel to Stanford (14-19, 7-8) for a three game series this weekend. The series will air on the Stanford Live Stream. The Ducks and Cardinal are set for a 6:05 p.m. first pitch on Friday.
