A 4.1 earthquake stuck near Corona in Riverside County on Wednesday afternoon and was felt across Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department entered Earthquake Mode, activating personnel from "all 106 neighborhood fire stations conduct a strategic survey by land, air and sea of their districts, examining critical infrastructure and areas of local concern across our 470 square mile City of Los Angeles jurisdiction," according to an incident report from the department .

In a post on 'X,' Fire Captain Erik Scott said "We are pleased to say that no significant damage was identified and no serious injuries have been reported," brining the LAFD survey to an end.

Azusa resident Alan told KNX News, "I've been here for most of my life , so I was here way back in 1969 and then the one in 1992. So, I felt my share of earthquakes, and this was nothing like any of those. It was just one sharp jolt, and that was it."

"It's a pretty run of the mill Southern California earthquake," said world-renowned seismologist Dr. Lucy Jones.

No injuries or property damage was reported near quake's center, 5.6 miles to the southwest of Corona. It was reported at 1:49 p.m.
