The Windmill to open for 2024 season soon

PENN YAN, N.Y. ( WETM ) — The Windmill Farm and Craft Market is ready to welcome guests for its 37th year in less than one week.

The Windmill’s 2024 season will start on Saturday, April 27. This market will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Saturday through the end of November and a few additional days for holidays and special events. Guests will be able to visit the Windmill from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 27, for a car show and for its regular hours on the 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Black Friday. All vendors will be open on the additional days.

The Windmill hosts more than 175 indoor and outdoor vendors who sell hot food, baked goods, fresh produce and flowers, handcrafted furniture, crafts, clothing, collectibles, and more. Several local wineries, a brewery, and a distillery offer tastings at the market as well.

Admission and parking are free, and limos, buses, and motor coaches are welcome. Groups don’t have to register, but the Windmill recommends that they do for a free guide and additional perks. Groups can call (315)-536-3032 to make a reservation.
