Michigan State running back transfer Jaren Mangham commits to Minnesota Football
Minnesota Football's running back room was decimated by injuries last fall, which is how Jordan Nubin as the RB5 last year was thrust in a 40-carry game by late October. Now after an offseason that saw Sean Tyler graduate, Bryce Williams move on, plus Zach Evans (North Texas) and Marquese Williams (Akron) hit the portal, that's four scholarship tailbacks that Minnesota had to replace from last season. And while the Gophers did bring in two transfer tailbacks before spring ball in Ohio's Sieh Bangura and Oklahoma's Marcus Major, they've elected to bring in one more experienced back in Michigan State's Jared Mangham, who just committed to Minnesota.
