Fraternal Order of Police Coastal Carolina Lodge #12 to host memorial service for fallen officers

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The Fraternal Order of Police Coastal Carolina Lodge #12 will host its annual peace officers Memorial Service on Friday at about 11:00 a.m., the Horry County Sheriff’s Office said.

The program will honor the sacrifices of officers in Horry, Georgetown, and Marion counties.

It will take place in front of the Law Enforcement Memorial, which is located at the Government and Justice Center, 1301 Second Ave., Conway, the department said.

Family members of fallen officers will be in attendance and Horry County Sheriff Phillip Thompson will be the keynote speaker.
