Some of your city councils plan top meet tonight. Here's a rundown of what they plan to decide. Bentonville will vote on: 📚 Accepting a $100,000 grant from Project for Public Spaces, funded by the Walton Family Foundation, for work at the Bentonville Public Library's lawn and exterior space. 🚦 A contract worth about $4 million with Grant Garrett Excavating for Walton Boulevard and West Central Avenue improvements. Rogers will vote on: 🚶 Accepting a grant of about $422,200 grant for Highway 71B pedestrian improvements. The city would contribute about $105,500. 🚧 Accepting a $133,600 grant — also from the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission — for improvements to the First Street and Pleasant Grove Road intersection. The city would contribute $33,400. Springdale will vote on: 💰 Endorsing Tyson Poultry for the tax back program that gives sales tax refunds on some construction-related purchases. 🚲 A contract worth about $173,000 with Diamond C Construction for the second phase of construction on Rabbit Foot Trail. 📍 If you go: 6pm at Bentonville and Springdale city halls and 6:30pm at Rogers City Hall.
