Top priority running back Bo Jackson locks in Ohio State official visit

COLUMBUS — Ohio State is in the market for at least two running backs in the 2025 cycle and one of them has locked in his official visit.

Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph running back Bo Jackson has finally locked in his official visit schedule. He will be in Columbus for his visit the first weekend of June — May 31 – June 2. Jackson will also make official visits to Alabama (June 7-9) and Georgia (May 17-19).

The 6-foot, 204-pound Clevelander is the No. 68 overall prospect and the No. 4 athlete according to the On3 Industry Rankings. On3 has Jackson as the No. 126 overall prospect and the No. 4 athlete.

Ohio State has been on Jackson for over two years now where he has camped year after year. He recently spoke with Lettermen Row about his interest in the Buckeyes and where things stand heading into a critical period in his recruitment.

“I’ve loved the recruiting process so I’m glad to be where I’m at,” Jackson told Lettermen Row and others. “I love my relationship with Coach Locklyn and with Head Coach Ryan Day, I’ve got real good relationships with both of them. I talk to Coach Locklyn all the time.”

Jackson is pretty set in what he’s looking for in a school as well.

“A family environment, family atmosphere,” he said. “I want to see a place where all the players are connected and close.”

Big First Weekend

Ohio State is gearing up for a massive recruiting weekend starting May 31. Along with Jackson, at least 11 other official visitors are heading to campus that weekend.

Running back Jeffrey Overton , wide receivers Daylan McCutcheon , Taz Williams and Winston Watkins , EDGEs Javeon Campbell , Justin Hill and Damien Shanklin , and linebackers TJ Alford , Riley Pettijohn and Elijah Barnes are all on the docket. Eli Lee will also be on campus but his official isn’t until a later date.
