A recent permit filing shows that Pablo’s Havana Cafe is making plans to operate a stall at the forthcoming Grandview Crossing food hall. A definitive timeline for opening the food hall hasn’t been announced yet, but it is currently under construction and is expected to open some time this year.

Pablo’s Havana Cafe currently has a stall at North Market Bridge Park, as well as a food truck that can be found at places like The Daily Growler or Columbus area events. What Now Columbus confirmed with Pablo’s Havana Cafe owner Pablo Taura that the cafe’s offerings at the Grandview Crossing food hall will be comparable to what’s available at North Market Bridge Park.

“It’s an exciting project, and the area has so many new tenants that will enjoy what’s coming in there,” Taura said of the forthcoming food hall.

According to the eatery’s website , the Pablo’s Havana Cafe menu features traditional Cuban recipes that have been passed down for five generations. A few of those offerings include several variations on the Cuban sandwich, including a version made with chicken in place of the traditional roasted pork, as well as a veggie style Cuban. Other menu selections are plates that feature a protein like shredded or ground beef or pork, served with white rice, black beans and a side.
