    Top Columbia area high school seniors for the 2024 TSSAA football season

    The 2024 TSSAA football season is just three months away. Here are the top seniors in the Columbia area for the upcoming season.

    Here are the top Columbia area seniors:

    Montae Baldwin, Columbia Academy, RB/LB: A Division II-A all-state selection, Baldwin rushed for 1,952 yards and 26 touchdowns last season. He also recorded 20 tackles, nine tackles for loss and three sacks.

    Blake Barker, Columbia Academy, OL/DL: Barker didn't allow a single sack last season, recording 27 pancake blocks and 20 tackles, earning a DII-A all-state selection.

    Harrison Brownlee, Columbia Academy, WR/DB: Brownlee was a DII-A All-State honoree last season. He hauled in 54 receptions for 832 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had 86 tackles, seven tackles for loss and two interceptions.

    Jhrevious Hall, Columbia Central, DL: Hall had 82 tackles, 13 sacks, four forced fumbles and a defensive touchdown, earning Region 5-5A defensive lineman of the year as Columbia Central went 7-4 last season.

    Rolin Manning, Columbia Central, ATH: Manning had 103 total tackles last season along with a defensive touchdown and three interceptions.

    Andrew Bingham, Independence, P: Bingham punted for over 1,600 yards last season, averaging 40.2 yards per punt.

    Landric Mayeski, Independence, K: Mayeski was 7-for-11 on field goals last season while making 100% of his extra point attempts for a total of 47 points.

    Eli Baumann, Independence, DB: Baumann had 67 tackles last season, 34 for loss, along with two tackles for loss and two interceptions.

    Matt Hagemann, Lawrence County, OT: Hagemann was a key member of the Wildcats offense last season and will be one of the leaders on the offensive line.

    Nicholas McDow, Loretto, RB: McDow rushed for 723 yards and 13 touchdowns last season with 7.94 yards per carry.

    Branton Snider, Loretto, DB/LB: Snider was second on the team last season with 55.5 total tackles, also grabbing two interceptions.

    Sam Creekmore, Loretto, LB: Creekmore finished with 50 total tackles last season.

    Jakyri McClure, Mt. Pleasant, RB: McClure ran for 782 yards last season with seven touchdowns and two two-point conversions.

    Evan Plunkett, Mt. Pleasant, LB: Plunkett finished last season with 40 solo tackles, 16 tackles for loss and four sacks.

    Darrick Ridenour, Mt. Pleasant, LB: Ridenour had 31 solo tackles last season, along with 10 tackles for loss and a sack.

    Blane Woodard, Richland, QB: The 6-foot-3 quarterback is stepping into the starting role for the Raiders with his arm strength poised to open the field for Richland's skill players.

    Jayden Pryor, Richland, WR/DB: A three-year starter, Pryor is a weapon on both ends of the ball. He had seven interceptions in 2022, earning an All-State selection.

    Chris Buchanan, Richland, OL/DL: Buchanan's strength will be key for the Raiders as he moves from tight end to tackle. A 1,000-pound lifter in the weight room, Buchanan stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 270-pounds.

    Luke Eslick, Richland, RB/LB: Eslick led the Raiders in touchdowns and tackles each of the last two seasons.

    Logan Love, Summertown, RB: Love had 500 all purpose yards at running back last season.

    Jaden Stoll, Summertown, QB: Stoll passed for over 600 yards in his previous campaign.

    Casyn Bailey, Summertown, DB: Bailey was the team's third leading tackler last season, helping Summertown to lock down the secondary.

    Mekhi Bell, Summit, DE: The 6-foot-6 defensive end had 53 tackles last season along with 4.5 sacks, 16 quarterback pressures and three forced fumbles.

    Mason McElhaney, Summit, QB: McElhaney rushed for over 1100 yards and 14 touchdowns last season, while passing for 691 yards and seven touchdowns.

    Dillon Pierce, Summit , ATH: Pierce had 53 tackles, three for a loss and three fumble recoveries last season. On offense he rushed for 322 yards and had 227 yards in the air.
