    Man arrested after allegedly stealing tools in Colma

    ( KRON ) – A San Francisco resident was arrested after stealing multiple tools from a store, according to the Colma Police Department.

    Colma police officers responded to a business in the unit block of Colma Boulevard on a report of a theft at approximately 1 p.m. on April 28. Officers learned a man took multiple tools without paying and fled the store on foot en route to the retail store.

    Responding officers located a man matching the description of the suspect. The store's loss prevention officer identified the man as the suspect. The suspect was identified as 31-year-old San Francisco resident Jason Clouser.

    Police say Clouser stole $131.10 worth of merchandise. According to police, officers found drug paraphernalia while searching Clouser.

    Clouser was arrested and booked for petty theft and having drug paraphernalia. Clouser was issued a citation for the charges and released on his promise to appear in court, according to police.
