Honors South residents affected by broken elevator

For about one month, Honors South student residents have been experiencing difficulties in dorm life as a result of one of the hall’s elevators being broken. Honors South Residence Hall is supposed to be equipped with two working elevators. Now, with only one available, many of what were once simple aspects of resident life have become some of the most tedious, such as doing laundry. With having to navigate loads up and down the stairs, residents are missing the efficiency provided by both elevators.

Beau Bayh prevailed in the secretary of state’s race Tuseday over Republican candidate Max Engling. With roughly 95% of precincts reporting as of Friday afternoon, Bayh received 51.9% of the vote, compared to Engling at 42.7%.
